Ed Berger

Herbalist Medicine Practitioner & Teacher for 25 years.

Originally inspired by the Ayurvedic healing system during several years in India, Ed is trained in Naturopathy, Iridology, and has a BSc in Western Herbal Medicine. His approach combines a thorough grounding in orthodox medical diagnosis and modern Western herbal medicine, with traditional Ayurveda and Naturopathy, a philosophy of healing that seeks to encourage the bodies own ‘self-healing’ powers.

Ed taught for 20 years at the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London during which time he held posts of Herbal Medicine and Naturopathy Course Director. He has written features about herbs and healing for a number of magazines and is a dedicated plantsman, growing a wide variety of herbal medicines in his woodland garden in Suffolk, many of which he collects for use in his practice.
